Titanoboa is a duo of Melanie Wratil and Lena Willikens, with music they describe themselves as “Electroacoustic Noire” and “Contemporary Post-Industrial”. Porphyr was their debut album and contains eight tracks produced in a studio in Cologne. Being equally into rumbling noise, experimental turntablism, angelic singing, organ improvisation and a lot of studio wizardry, the album is described as “the perfect soundtrack for the early 2020s”.
