Michael Adamis (1929 – 2013) was recognised as a pioneering composer who created a contemporary musical genre upon the Greek tradition. His electroacoustic soundscapes, left a clear aesthetic mark in contemporary and Byzantine music.  Tape, voice, distortion, concrete and electronic sounds, use of early synths.
