An intriguing, very personal sound in the world of dark electronic minimalism – Patrick Bossink from Utrecht, NL, uses granular synthesis, feedback, glitch effects and spring reverb to create slightly unsettling, lo-fi soundscapes. No ambitions of story-telling, just sensitive constructions of atmospheres that don’t vary too much on any of the eight tracks on this album, but therefore make it a coherent statement.
