Earthbeheer is the second album by the band Buurtbeheer (on LP) after 2022’s Een Orgie van Geweld (on cassette). This time, they’re going beyond the borders of their neighbourhood and into the world. Still the motto on the sticker is “Social Housing Doom from Charlois, Rotterdam.”
Anyway, here are nine new songs of doom heaviness for you to enjoy.
While side A dives into innercity social issues (poverty! drugs!), side B withdraws to the countryside while being influenced by folk themes.

The riders of the Earthbeheer are Jacco Wanneer (vocals, flute), YoKolina (drums, vocals) and Sebatosh (bass, synth, kalimba).

The Poem in “Earthbeheer Anthem” is by Joannes Reddingus (1907).
