New album following their brilliant tape album “Ik Wil Nog Niet Dood”, this time honouring the late great Misha Mengelberg by interpreting five of his pieces (tracks 2, 5, 6, 8 and 11). This is an amazing band: all are fairly established names in the Amsterdam avant-garde improv scene; they seem to do this for fun but they sound fantastic, with their very own noisy take on popular styles like cumbia, tango, klezmer and jazz, championing the playfulness and sardonic humour of the Instant Composers practice made famous by Han Bennink and Misha Mengelberg and their comrades.
