Works and Opinions of Theo van Dusseldorp. Yeah, that’s right: Van Dusseldorp. For the past 35 years Theo van Dusseldorp has been both a product
photographer and a teacher. He has educated well over a 1000 students at the KABK (Royal Academy of Art, The Hague). Someone to be reckoned with: not only a master of technique, but with a major influence on the quality of (commercial) studio images published in the Netherlands in the last quarter century. The four members of Salvo now pay homage to their teacher. Illustrated with countless polaroids, which served as studies of his product photos and accompanied by articles and bits of pieces (theorem, lessons) of the master himself. In a sense a monograph on, as appears from this work, a very likeable man. September 2014.
