Jos van Tol is probably best known for his drums with Jacco Gardner, though solo as Heartsnatcher he does some completely different work. On his debut album Triumph Without Euphoria as instrument he uses the hardware of the computer as instrument, not just software. So you get to hear fans and skipping hard disks and such. The result are buzzing sounds with pulsing rhythms and glitches. While it is rhythmical it stays really abstract and minimal.
