Transatlantyk (1982) is the only fiction-film by Ania Siwanowicz, a Polish documentary filmmaker. For its re-release, twenty years after the original, she has invited Portradium to compose the score. Or so the story goes.
Portradium in any case is a French electronic artist who uses rhythmical patterns and live percussion together with glitchy electronic sequences, a bit in the IDM vein.
