Stephan Wagner is an artist based, I think, in Quebec. He calls himself “Poète Visuel et Bibliomaniac”.

Each concrete poem in the book is, as Wagner says, a transcreation of a paragraph by Gertrude Stein. The texts come from her books “Lucy Church Amiably”  (1930) and “Portraits and Prayers” (1934)
