Arnold de Boer, with the second limited release on his own label. When he’s not on stage with THE EX, he’s touring the country with KANIPCHEN-FIT. ZEA is once again unstoppable on this release.

In addition to countless samples, electronic effects, guitar and Arnold’s vocals, he uses the Ethiopian song “Bogiye” by Abonesh Andrew as the basis for “Song for electricity”. “Ich hab ein Riesenkopf” is also underlaid with an Ethiopian tune.

The Amsterdam duo KANIPCHEN-FIT consists of Gloria Holwerda-Williams and Empee Williams. Both enrich their two-part vocals with percussion, guitar and electronic effects.Very alternative, very indie, a bit emotional and poignant. They remind me of the TRAVELS and form an excellent contrast to ZEA.
