A delicate work of art. Rosie finished her Master Studies at the Dutch Art Institute in 2012. This publication was her end project and it is impressive. She chose to publish a soundwork in the form of a 10″ vinyl accompanied by a text book. The sleeve with the amazing wood prints by Bryan Nash Gill is what first draws attention. The recording is composed out of talks by three different persons about experiences of desire, personal crisis and transcendencies. It is done in a pure way, withouth additional effects. What matters here is how the texts, cut up, form a whole, a story of ritualism and spirituality.
