This special 2-disk release features eight shorts by Cuban filmmaker, Santiago Alvarez. This includes the film Hasta La Victoria Siempre, about the life and death of Che Guevara; Hanoi, Martes 13 a powerful and poetic document about the bombing of Hanoi during the Vietnam War; LBJ, a visual collage about the rise of President Johnson amidst the Civil Rights Revolution, the Vietnam War and the 1960’s anti-war movement.  The second disk features a photo gallery of Alvarez’s private photo album and Accelerated Under-development, the documentary by Travis Wilkerson about Alvarez, his amazing work and life.
