Tristan Perich - 1-Bit Symphony
OUT OF STOCK, sorry. 1 bit as the most elementary unit for digital representation (on or off) triggered the imagination of composer and sound artist Perich. He composed a piece of 40 minutes of 1-bit music. It’s an absolutely brilliant piece, polyphonic (how did he do it?) and actually sounding like a lo-fi synth orchestra. The 1-Bit Symphony is played by a self-built electronic circuit, housed in a CD jewel box with a headphone output. It has an on/off switch, a volume knob and something that sounds like a fast forward button.
