Already in 1996 the French free experimental rock group Soixante Étages that had already been around since the 80s handed over a bunch of cassettes with unreleased material to musique concrète composer Lionel Marchetti. Over a long stretch of time he mixed selections from these recordings with his own material into new compositions.
