Faces - Tijdlus
Tijdlus was a collaboration between cinematographer Joost Van Veen, electronic musician/composer Huib Emmer, improviser/guitarist/songwriter Lukas Simonis (all NL), cello player Nina Hitz (CH) and forte piano / cembalo player Kaoru Iwamura (JAP). Around 2011 they toured with this amazing live music/live cinema spectacle.
Image and sound are equally important in TIJDLUS (Timeloop). Van Veen made the images, while all musicians play crucial roles in performing Emmer and Simonis’s compositions.
