The Stumps are the New Zealand trio of Antony Milton (guitar, vocals, ethnomusicological field recordings), James Kirk (drums, guitar, beard), Stephen Clover (bass, synth, fighting talk).
Famously referred to as “a pocket sized Fushitsusha” The Stumps combine their background in classic New Zealand noise bands with their teen fantasies of being in superloud kraut rock and psychedelic bands.
Split Fleet Dodge is one of their earliest releases from 2006.

Recorded at Murder Shed and Dorking Labs II between 2003 and 2005 except the first bit of A1 which was recorded live at Bar Bodega in 2004.
