WORM Horspil - K7-5
Fifth release of the “tape in a VHS box” series of Horspils, a great design by Studio Eyesberg in 2014. The piece on Side A (21’31”), “Ethiopian Son” was commissioned by Poetry International and also performed live there by the WORM Klangendum crew together with Argentinian poet Martín Gambarotta. The text was based on an essay by Mario Vargas Llosa entitled “My Son, The Rastafarian”, about sending your son to an elite school in London and then he gets converted to the Rastafari religion. Language: Spanish.
On Side B (34’42”): “Fotografie” by JaDa. It’s a series of sampled loops by Jan van den Dobbelsteen alternated with songs by Danielle Lemaire. Not really something you could call a radioplay in my opinion..
