Starting out with information versus reality, the author, professor of Philosophy at the University of Montana, discusses three topics in his volume: information about reality (natural information), information for reality (cultural information), and information as reality (technological information). It is mainly the last that neccesitates “holding on to reality”. In our life and time we are submersed in information.
