Number 2 in the Blueprint series that is published by iii (Instruments Inventors Initiative) in The Hague, NL. This time by the artist formerly known as managing director of the organisation, Matteo Marangoni.  He invites you to recreate his artwork Echo Moiré, via detailed instructions and links to downloadable material. This is actually the idea behind the Blueprints: to allow anyone to recreate a piece of performative sound art or interactive sound installation.

Similar to a musical score, The Blueprint Series intends to preserve performative and staged works of sound art, as the works themselves are in danger of disappearing with the creator. This gives the pieces a firm anchor point in history and opens them up to be studied and copied, setting the ideas free to be further developed by a broader community of artists now and in the future.
