Bretzel Zoo is the notorious “Vaux vs Verviers” crew composed of Herrmutt Lobby, Cupp Cave, Dalcym, Dr. Vaen & whoever else happens to drop by! Members from the Bretzel Zoo crew toured the Netherlands last winter as Herrmutt Lobby, celebrating the release of their Bassfudge Powerscones EP. ‘Cupptaste’ and ‘The Dunk’ are all about that kind of fat, gravelled up beats and rough, low res electronics you find on the “funkier side of town”… Disjointed rhythms and neck snapping beats galore also for ‘Carapitch’ and ‘Don’t let the Rain Come in Your Ass’, both interlaced with the Zoo’s typical freak robot samples and sounds.
