2007. Manuel Schiesser and Pieter Zandvliet crossed paths at a poetry recital at gallery Slaphanger. This collaboration is the result of a cross pollination: Zandvliet’s images have inspired Schiesser, and vice versa: Zandvliet made new work based on Schiesser’s poems (in Dutch). Highly autobiographical and hilariously explicit, both artists explore the boundaries of their morbid world.
