These tracks were recorded as musical exchanges between Banabila and Scanner, playing a game of back and forth. It was clear from the start that they were interested in creating something fragile, elegant and resplendent, offering up a union of their musical voices in works that resonate with the heart and mind. The sounds incorporate both the real – turntables, sampled voices, piano, guitar – and the imagined, in the form of synthesis and electronics.
