The city of Vienna has a long tradition of interventions and actions in the public space. In 2009, the fourth Paraflows festival shed a light on the role played by digital media when it comes to exploring, questioning, and shaping the urban infrastructure. The book, edited by Gunther Friesinger, contains essays by Frank Apunkt Schneider, Peter Weibel, Gordon Matta-Clark, Martin Bricelj, Kunstrasen, GRSL, Piratenradio, Gordan Savicic, Anna Witt, Valie Export, and many more.
