I love this album! Lukas Simonis and Dominic Robertson (formerly known as Ergo Phizmiz) set out on a rapid fire songwriting bonanza and out came this series of wonderful tunes. Their lyrics and singing styles, ironic and slightly phlegmatic, accompanied by banjo, brass, synths, cello and drums by Cor Hoogerdijk are the magic mix for an instant classic, bringing to mind R. Stevie Moore, Wire, Bonzo Dog Band and XTC. Watch this video of Imagine Imogen, and be convinced. Also available on CD.
