Using actors who portray his friends Max Brod, Gustav Janouch, Felice Bauer, Max Pulver, Milena Jesenska, and Dora Diamant, utilizing excerpts from texts they wrote and Kafka’s letters, these ‘reconstructed’ interviews attempt to shed light on how Kafka became one of the most influential writers of the 20th century.
