Harbour Symphony - Music for Ships’ Horns
The Harbour Symphony has become the signature work of the Sound Symposium this symposium being an international celebration of sound happening every two years. The Harbour symphony consist of using ships horns in the St John harbour. Each day a muscian writes a new piece of music for ships horns. The music of the ships signals to everyone with in a 12 mile radius that it is time again to celebrate the wonders of sound. The harbour, the hills and halls of ST John Newfoundland resonate with creative energy.
