WORM Horspil - K7-8
The wonderful Horspil Series on tape continues! On side A: Xylotheque, a radio play made by Eli Gras, a sound artist and instrument builder from Barcelona. During her residency at the WORM studio, she chose as theme a hypothetical psychology of household objects, and their communication with”the human world”. This evolved into an electroacoustic sounds theatre fantasy, close to music. Not totally music, but, as she describes it, a kind of “animistic” sound work with a “narrative” involved.
On side B: ARP Songs for Radio by Anne Wellmer, a brilliant composer from The Hague. The ARP is a modular synthesizer made famous by, among others, Eliane Radigue. Up till the end of 2016, the WORM studio was blessed with an ARP 2500, and Anne, already familiar with the smaller-sized ARP 2600, explored the great machine and all its modules.
