Gross is truly amazing, mostly so if you see him perform live, but this well-produced recording can do in the meantime. His specialisms are feedback, field recordings and cassette tape manipulation.

On this album he has added a Serge modular synthesizer system, this was a live set at Pasquart, Biel.Bienne, as part of an exhibition called “Solo / Mute / Pan” in 2025. Gross edited the recordings plus some snippets of older material, into two tracks of around 16 minutes, each on one side of the tape. Mastering by Taku Unami.

Jump Cut is a good title, there are plenty of unexpected twists and turns.
