Central Living is Steve Gunn (Guitars) and Manuel Padden (Synth and electronics) and Dune Church is recorded in an abandoned church in The Hague on a cold winter day and it’s quite heady, dense-sounding stuff for a duo once they hit their stride, and it’s the kind of headphone-oriented record which is just completely involving as your mind tries to keep tabs on all the different layers of tone whirling around its earholes. Great late-night mystical vibes and a cool-looking sleeve to boot!
