The first Dutch band to record a Peel Session, Minny Pops made two singles for Factory Records (Dolphin’s Spurt and Secret Story), as well as their extraordinary second album, Sparks In A Dark Room (1982). They had a walk-on part in the Joy Division story, but more importantly, as the reactivated band are eager to prove, they were very much the stars of their own show.
