New album by Giovanni Marks, as before a radical approach and varied ways of working, there’s even (what sounds like) a Joy Division rip-off (My Baby don’t love me no more) and some pop music plunderphonics, but the praxis remains of hyper-energetic ranting, personal documents in the form of poetic cascades. All this in musical structures that stab you in a monomaniac way, while at the same time they really get you moving.
