Valérie Perrin (Ed.) - Olia Lialina: Net Artist

First monograph of this brilliant net art pioneer! Shedding light on her many groundbreaking projects and published on the occasion of the exhibition “Olia Lialina, Something For Everyone” at Espace Multimédia Gantner, Bourogne in 2020. A great media archeology this, showing how Lialina played with the specificities of the medium, ie the flows, URLs and protocols.
This book is part of a series co-published with Gantner, devoted to women artists in connection with technology. Texts are by Michael Connor, Annet Dekker, Ed Halter and Katrina Sluis.

Olia Lialina was born in Moscow in 1971 and is now based in Stuttgart.

Softcover, published in 2020, 224 pages. Bilingual edition English/French.
