Bas Fontein (Amersfoort, 1978) runs BASBOEK, his very own imperium of self-produced books, often using photos and texts from existing archives and fitting them in a specific concept.
I Just Arrived This Morning is a flipbook made of left-over material from five photo albums belonging to his brother. A brother who apparently travels a lot and only keeps the cut-out parts of his photographs that he finds relevant. Only 50 copies were made, 106 pages printed on photo paper, held together by two sturdy crews. Book design by Jeroen Disch.
