This really made us happy: Harry’s early works finally available again, and, appropriately enough, on a cassette. Recorded between 1989 and 1994, this was the stuff that made us his fans in the first place: totally over-the-top freakiness, but totally Harry in his songs, texts, blurbs, crazy sound effects, etc. His sound became a lot more streamlined in the later years, though his genius remained on top all the way. The sound is very dense, lo-fi, he may have taped this on a portable deck with lo-tech mic? In his bedroom? This is the picture that pops up, anyway.
