floppy films - live floppy cinema: Next Life
A 20 seconds floppy film (MPEG-1 video on a standard 3.5″ floppy disk) of performance gig by Next Life (Hai Nguyen Dinh & Trond Jensen) at WORM on February 21 2009, recorded live with a Sony Mavica floppy disk camera.
Next Life perform short sets of extremely condensed, loud, stroboscopic audiovisual pieces partly produced with vintage home computers and have blessed this floppy film as a congenial recording.
All live floppy cinema disks are 1:1 copies of the camera floppy disk, with no later editing or file manipulation.
